About me

Hello.

I live in a small village, near the globe inn on the main A4 Bath/Bristol road (idea for commuting to Bath/Bristol) I live with my Husband/Grown up son and 3 dogs. I have a garden to play in and for children to grow flowers and vegetables in, we go to toddler group, use the mobile library, and local park. We do lots of activities inc. Cooking, art and craft, gardening, walking, puzzles, books and lots of other play activities as well as having a quiet time each day to allow children to re-charge their batteries (cots available if needed or just do quiet activities (reading, puzzles DVD's etc) I have had lots of experience of children of all ages including my own 2 children a son who lives with us and a daughter (now married and has 2 children) who were brought up while I was a registered childminder before (1990-2002) I then worked in a nursery for a short time before changing careers, but felt happier working with children, during which I have had 2 grandchildren whom I care for regularly and have been re-registered since July 2011. I'm registered for 4 children under 8 years (3 under 5 years/1 under1 year) I have been Ofsted inspected in January 2012 and was awarded GOOD. My aim is to provide a home from home environment where all children can reach their full protential while having a fun time, and being in a safe secure homely setting. MY usual opening hours are 7.30am-6.00pm Monday-Friday. But I.
