About me

I live with my partner of 21 years and our 16 year old son. We are a non smoking household and have one animal - a cat. She is used to having young children in the house and is very tame/friendly.

I am committed to childminding and see it as a profession. I do my level best to ensure that I update my knowledge by seeking out regular training and continue to help raise the profile of childminding and to establish good links within the childminding community.

I am registered to look after a total of 5 children, of which no more than 3 children may be under five years of age and of those three no more than 1 child to be under one year. Even though I am registered to look after school age/older children I do tend to specialise in looking after younger children (0-4 age group).

I childmind four days a week and they are Monday - Thursday (7.30am-5.30pm).

This vacancy is for younger children only ie. babies & toddlers. I am currently not taking on older children and cannot offer before or after school care for them.

Please also note that I do not childmind on Friday's

I am Ofsted Registered. I have received an 'Outstanding' award on my last 2 inspections carried out by Ofsted - The most recent was 23 January 2012.

As required by Ofsted I have full Public Liability Insurance and I carry out the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

I continue to update my knowledge and attend various difference courses such as:

Paedeatric First Aid (St John's Ambulance)

Social & Emotional Aspects of Development
Inclusion and Special Education Needs
Speech and Language
Talking and Listening to the Children
